  BRUCE GREY LiNUX USERS GROUP MEET-UP

  The Bruce Grey Linux Users Group (BGLUG) was founded in 2000 to bring local Linux users together and to help newcomers to Linux. The group holds monthly meetings, gives technical presentations, distributes Linux CD-ROMs and hosts a web site, www.bglug.ca, which provides online support. Over the years the user group has evolved into a forum to discuss anything electronic, software, or computer related. We aren't just linux anymore: we do windows.

  Grey Bruce Makers hosts our meetings in Owen Sound on the first Wednesday of every month but our members are scattered around Bruce and Grey counties. The group is freely open to everyone.

  Grey Bruce Makers is proud to be a host location for the Owen Sound Artist Studio Tour (Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 20–21, 10 AM – 4 PM). Artists and visitors from across the region will be walking through our doors, and we want our space to look its absolute best!

  That’s where our members come in.

  Join us for just one hour of teamwork, tidying, and organizing on the Friday September 19th. Together, we’ll give the facility a quick refresh so it shines for all the guests coming through.

  It’s amazing what many hands can do in just 60 minutes — and it’s a great chance to connect with fellow makers while taking pride in our shared space.

  Bring your energy, your teamwork spirit, and maybe a rag or two — we’ll supply the good vibes.
