Join us for our first event in the Home Improvement Series. This discussion and workshop is free to attend and we will be learning all about home efficiency, how to make your home cost you less, government programs and funds available for the homeowner to take advantage of, and some steps you can take right now to improve your energy consumption.

Our Presenter Andrew Cahill

Throughout my degree and for the first 3 years after post-secondary, I worked in the restaurant industry in both back and front of house positions. Though it was a flexible industry and allowed me freedom to travel, it was not my calling. After months of internally debating which job in the trades I would most enjoy, a proverbial light bulb went off! The energy industry, and especially renewable energy, was the place for me. Having been in this field for almost 7 years, I know the search for my passion has ended and my career is well underway. It turns out that the proverbial light bulb over my head was, indeed, powered by a solar panel.
