WHAT: Learn 3D Design Autodesk Fusion 360 with Mike Jones

WHEN: Thursday February 20th, 25th and 27th 6pm-9pm

COST: $150 plus tax

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Ever wanted to 3D print something that you can't find on Printables or wanted to modify an existing design? Learn the basics of 3D CAD using Autodesk Fusion in this course. Bring a laptop and external mouse! CAD is harder to control with a trackpad.

At the end of this beginner-focused crash course, you will have experienced the essential solid design elements of Autodesk Fusion and leave with an STL (3D Model) ready for 3D printing! 3D CAD can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! Mike Jones has been using CAD programs for over 10 years professionally and academically.

What you'll learn:
Basic understanding of 3D modeling (sketches, planes, reference lines, and more!)
Using the sketch tool and properly constraining CAD dimensions
Extrude, drill, and add text to modify an object
Import and export existing 3D parts and models
