Family and friends come together in a classroom setting to learn a new skill, meet new people, socialize, and to create a Chunky Finger-Knitted Throw Blanket.  No knitting needles required.

Learn to Finger Knit a Chunky Throw Blanket. The final measurement of the blanket is approximately 34” x 54” and may vary based on each participant’s unique tension and knitting style. 

Participants learn the benefits of knitting, basic knitting terminology and the simple skill of finger-knitting which they can use to make future blankets.  The event is 3-4 hours in duration. Participants leave with a blanket.

Each blanket contains four balls of yarn ($65 worth) which are included in the fee for the event:

The participant can can elect to create a blanket of:

• 1 solid colour

• 3 colours (2 main and 1 each contrast) 

• 4 individual colours

There are 64 Bernat BIG Blanket colour choices to choose from.
