  • Learn all the steps to creating a video production with Max Blanco in this 6 session course.

Get ready for 6 amazing sessions where you will create and fine tune a profile video for yourself or your business. Join expert Maxime Escario Blanco from Beyond Reach Productions as he teaches you concept planning, lighting, filming and editing. This course will get you comfortable with each stage of the production process including Pre-Production (Planning), Production (Filming), and Post-Production (Editing). You will leave with a finished video production.

Week 1: Introduction & Pre-Production

  • Understanding what it takes to create a video

  • Being able to create a first script draft

  • Overview of Video Production: (pre-production, production, post-production)

  • Define the purpose and audience for the video

  • Scriptwriting: Basics of writing a script, crafting a strong message

  • Planning: Storyboarding, choosing locations, and determining necessary equipment

  • On-Camera Presence: Tips on speaking confidently and naturally\

  • Practical Session: Participants practice filming short clips.


Week 2: Building Your Brand Identity

  • Creating a cohesive visual brand identity

  • Building a good camera relationship

  • Visual Branding: Choosing colour schemes, fonts, and overall visual style.

  • Understanding types of equipment & making a possible investment

  • Shot composition (Interview & B-Roll)

  • Budget-Friendly Options: How to achieve quality results on a budget.

  • Setting Up: Framing shots, lighting setup, and sound considerations.

  • Getting new camera composition skill

  • Practice session: getting B-Roll

  • Filming Techniques: Camera angles, shot composition, and movement.

  • Working with a Crew: Directing a team or self-filming.


Week 3: Equipment & Setup

Basic Equipment Overview (Cameras, microphones, lighting, and software)


Week 4: Production Day


Week 5: Post-Production Basics

  • Understanding a software

  • Editing a video (A-Roll, B-Roll, Sound, Subtitles)


Week 6: Finalizing & Distribution

  • Understanding the basics of strategizing the distribution

  • Understanding each platforms purpose (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)


*You will require a laptop computer to complete the course. Software and camera and lighting gear will be provided.
